    We worked with the BH&HPA to modernise and update their annual member directory for 2025, as well as providing proofreading support for their quarterly journal and ad hoc graphic design projects as their brand evolved.


    The BH&HPA member directory was initially a problem-solving exercise - it had become a significant document with 100+ pages of listings largely differentiated by colour, and a large fold-out sheet containing a huge matrix of organisations in various tables, matching them against the services they provided. The referencing was confusing and colours did not seem to be applied consistently.

    To simplify the directory, we introduced icons to aid quicker cross-referencing and created a 'services' section that followed the member listings, retaining colour for some of the vibrancy of the brand (and to link to previous versions) but including the icons and clear headers to improve accessibility. We also added a 'tab' to each page of the listings to aid readers' navigation when using the document.

    We are currently working on some brand transition projects with the BH&HPA and will post some updates when it is launched!
