How Long We Keep Your Personal Data
We will only keep your personal data for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
To determine the appropriate retention period, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use, and our legal obligations.
By law, we must keep different types of data for different lengths of time:
· Inquiry & Contact Form Data: If you contact us via our website but do not become an active client, we will retain your name, email address, and message history for 2 years from the date of our last communication. This allows us to handle follow-up questions or re-start discussions.
· Client Project & Financial Records: If we work together, we are legally required to keep core business data—including contracts, invoices, project briefs, billing details, and communication records—for 6 years following the end of the financial year in which our services ended. This complies with HMRC tax rules and statutory limitation periods.
· Marketing & Newsletter Data: If you opt-in to receive agency updates or insights, we will retain your contact details for 24 months from your last active engagement, or until you choose to unsubscribe. Every marketing email we send includes an immediate 'unsubscribe' link.
When these timeframes expire, your personal data will either be securely and permanently deleted from our systems or anonymised so that it can no longer be associated with you.
